Default Radio control steering wheel question

Just got a new steering column with radio controls. One of the wires are cut and I was wondering if it is the one that plugs in the back of the sterio. I found this harness on ebay, is this what I need? Does it plug into the orange connector?

The answer to both questions is no. I'm not sure what wires were cut, but that is not the harness for the radio controls. The radio control harness has four wires and looks like this:

This harness you found on ebay is what goes in the steering wheel itself to make the buttons work.

Thanks for the info and the pic. I'll get on trying to find the right harness.

I am not positive, but the cut harness you are holding in the pic may be the wires for the GM PATS system.
