Default IROC Z sell or upgrade

I am having a hard time deciding if it is worth selling or upgrading the whole car.

Lets start with nothing is actually wrong with the car but I have been debating starting the modernization of this 89 IROC.

LS-2? 6 Speed? Pro tour it??

Sell it??

Camaro lovers opinions please.

So you love the car? Does it make you happy? Its always worth the work if it's something you love. I had an 85 Firebird that was a fun simple car. Some years later I got a 97 Z28 with a 6 speed and an LT1. I love the car. So much nicer inside and and so much more power.

Man they are only factory once. By the pictures that car looks friggin mint. If it's a TPI car I'd find another car to cut up. You can probably sell that car for enough to buy you a low mileage LS car. It's all depends on if there are reasons to keep that car if it's particularly special to you. But it's def clean enough that it's a good candidate for a LS conversion.

How original is it? Low miles? More pictures? If it's a mint collector don't touch a thing. If not, drop an LS3 in it and go romp on it.
