Exclamation Who can resist more power right?

Well as much power as this car has I'm doing some upgrades.
You can't have too much power right?

I went down to Vancouver,WA to chat with LS engine guru and Corvette specialist Tom Wong about a set of headers and ended up looking at a cam and head package as well lol.
Tom is a great guy and knows his stuff, people with high end Corvettes and other cars come from all over the NW for his expertise.
Check out the 700 rwhp Saleen S7 on his FB page! He joked that he went dark side (Ford power) working on that one lol.
Tom said with a set of LS6 heads and a cam upgrade along with the headers I could put another 100hp to the rear wheels so I decided that sounds really interesting.
I happened upon a set of LS6 heads taken off an '04 Corvette Z06 with only 45K miles on them from someone going to something more exotic like Trick Flow,I probably paid too much but I got them at auction on eBay with a buy it now while 15 other lookers waited for the price to drop.
I searched the net all over for a set of these and only found one other set from a race engine that blew up and they had some damage so I was happy to get'em.
Tom and I talked a bit about cams and how aggressive I wanted to go,you know, the old performance vs drivability thing. I like a bit of bumpity bump and my car has a stick shift so he will spec a cam for me that should be a good fit. I told him I always like the old DZ302 Z28 cam back in the day, a little lumpy but not too obnoxious so it'll be something along those lines.
I may well go with a set of roller rockers to complete the package.
Can't wait for next Summer!
