Default Serious question about cowl clearance.

I'm tossing around the idea of an lsa blower in my 98 car. Why does everyone claim the inability to keep wipers?

I could see why you'd lose the passenger side wiper assembly, but couldn't the one that really matters (driver's side) be left in tact?

This comes up a lot in the gen 1 SBC conversions like I'm doing to my 95 as well. I haven't looked into the LSA swap but the big thing is if you have to cut out the passenger side wiper pivot, the wiper transmission isn't connected anymore. You would have to come up with a way for the motor and trans to cycle through with only the one pivot. I'm sure it can be done, just going to take some thinking and trial and error. Just don't get your fingers in the way while operating the linkage, you're likely to pull back a nub.
