Default Looking for OEM SS parts

Looking for some advice: I purchased one of the fiberglass SS spoilers from ebay and while it did look awesome from a distance. The more i look at it, the more the slight variance in fit was driving my nuts! Needless to say it's no longer on the car and the OEM spoiler is back on.

I've been dragging the line looking for OEM parts all over the interwebs and have come up with nothing! Any one have any tips or advice on where one could find OEM SS spoilers and possibly hoods? I would prefer an oem 96-97 SS spoiler (i like the more subtle look a bit) but i would for an oem 98-02 spoiler as well.

Any ideas? I feel like i've scrounged junkyards all over the place and such and come up with natta. Seems that these cars are slowly getting rarer and rarer. Especially early 4th gens.

Your best bet is to find someone who is parting out a car. In fact, I actually have a Pewter Silver 2000 Camaro SS I'm going to part out. I only needed the engine, transmission, seats, radiator, and the hood off the car. Everything else will be up for grabs.

I figured something along those lines. If you were parting out a 97 or 96 SS, I would be all over some of those parts!

I wasn't aware there were any differences between the pre-1998 Camaro SS spoiler and the post-1998 SS spoilers.

Yes, 96-97 had a different spoiler. The 96-97 spoiler had just a slight flare build up in the center. As opposed to the 98-02 SS spoiler had the two support posts and flares up quite a bit more. Here's a thread detailing and showing lots of pictures between the two. https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...e-98-02-a.html

At first glance it would probably not look very different to most individuals based on pictures. But it looks really different in person.

I can see the difference in the pictures. I never noticed that before.
