I wasn't familiar with the LQ4 engine, but this line from Patrick's post on the HP sold me:

"This 1973 Camaro makes more than double the stock output of the most powerful factory-built Camaro from that model year and the builder has achieved those numbers with a mildly built van engine." That's just awesome.

I like both the 1st and 2nd gen cars. I had a '67 years ago and now have a '68 project car. My brother had a '71 when I had the '67. I would own either, my faves!
