when i turn on my headlights on in my 2002 camaro ss after a few minutes they will go off on their own. i can turn the switch off then back on and they will go off again after a few seconds.
what is causing this?

What time of day is it when you did this? I leave my lights in the drl/automatic headlight control position all the time. When it gets dark, the headlights will come on by themselves. This is controlled by a sensor on top of the dash.

Any time day or night it will do this.
