Im looking at a 02 camaro v6 5 speed as a commuter car, mint condition, like the price, etc once I no longer need the commuter car I would like to v8 swap it.

I know the trans won't support an ls1, would I need a donor rear end as well ?

The paint / body is in such perfect condition and the price is a great, just curious what's salvageable.

Rear end, brakes etc are the same from the V6 to the top optioned LS1 cars of the generation. Depends on how crazy you want to get with how much your rear will support.
