That cam will have a hair less duration too with the 1.7 rockers

I don't know where a calculator is to figure out exactly what it will come out to though.

Yeah, I decided to go with an off the shelf* max effort type camshaft and curious to see how it will do in my 4.07" bore setup.

When you factor in the 1.7 ratio that cam becomes very very similar to the cam you took out. If you were wanting to go considerably bigger you may want to pause on installing that cam and run the numbers.

The two cams are similar, I wanted more duration and lift. Even with the rocker ratio factor decrease from the cam card, the intake and exhaust duration is increased quite a bit from the cam I was running.

Even factoring in slightly less duration from the 1.7 rockers?

Correct, I've had this cam on my shelf for about 6 months btw. Finally got around to installing it the other night lol.

Measured and ordered new push rods. I'm needing 7.550" long push rods for .035" preload on my Johnson reduced travel race lifters. Went with 3/8".

Also started disassembling the suspension off of the kmember. Plan to drop the kmember from the engine next.

I'm using 3/8" trickflow pushroda. Worked great with my 823 heads

Cool deal, yeah I researched to see if there were any issues running 3/8" rods in LS3 heads, seemed all good.
