Default I need help with my 98 camaro!!!

Hello folks. I scored a 1998 camaro for $free.99. I also scored a 4.8 ls for the same price. My camaro is basically just a roller but, I freaking need some direction here. I have posted all of the photos that I have of the random things that I have lol. I know there is some very intelligent people on here and that is why I am turning here for some help.

Don't mind my buddy being goofy haha.

Looks like you have quite a project on your hands. What are your plans for the car? Was it originally an AT or MT (and do you have a trans for it)? V6 or V8? Answers to these questions will go a long way towards getting the answers you need.

Car was originally a ls1 car with an automatic transmission. I do not have the trans ready yet. I do have a th350 that I will be putting in there at first until it breaks lol. I am not worried about the interior at all. I just want to get the car running/driving so that I can take it to the track and enjoy life lol. I am just not quite sure where to start. I am going to use the ls1 ecu and engine harness because then tuning it will be a lot easier as I have a buddy who is good with hp tuners but, I have been kind of researching microsquirt because that looks very interesting. Just need to get the car moving in the right direction and I am not sure who to turn to for help haha. Hopefully this response answers some of the questions that you had asked me and I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

Looks like a fun time. I'm bouncing the idea of doing a truck ls swap into my turd gen myself. Do you have all the engine harness and pcm?
