hey guys got 199560 miles on my 98 v6 Camaro. on a 140 mile trip on the interstate, I watched the oil pressure drop to nothing in a matter of miles. put new oil pump and pick up on. car ran great for a few days an now I hear a knocking (tapping?) after it warms up. Im hopping its not a rod knocking. is there anything I can do to make my car last

If its just lifter tick you can try adding some detergent in the oil. Something like valve medic
If its really rod knock pretty much damage is done.
200 thousand miles on a V6 could have done worse.
