Default 1998 Z28

I am about to go out of town to look at a 98 z28 motor bad, guy thinks its head gaskets. what would be a good price if its in good looking condition? I would really like to hear some comments on this. by the way , iam in the truck section but i need something faster. thanks , Rodney

If it has decent miles on the body, i wouldn't pay more than $6000.

Default yea right

I went and looked at it . the guy was firm at 3 grand . he said it needed head gaskets, but i can read the part # on the #3 connecting rod . also it had no ac or exhaust. buyer beware, the car is in the auto trader. nuff said.

What a dirtbag! Anyone in their right mind is gonna catch that . 3k isn't TOO bad , though , you could get that parting it out. Wouldn't make a lot but a litte bit.
