Question changing the body on a 96 LT1

is it possible to change a hard top 96 LT1 to a T top and also change the body style to a 2000 body style?

Yes, but I would keep it the same. I don't think it would be worth the money. I like the style of the Lt1 better. Just my opinion.

It would probably be cheaper to sell your 96 and buy a 2000 with t tops.

98 Zs are getting cheap. Thats alot of work, and even more money. I am thinking of "Upgrading" myself...

I have thought about getting an LS1, but I don't like the interior as much as my 94. I have the interior with the red stripe down the middle and dark grey sides. I also like how the panal in the middle turns toward the driver. (kind of like a supra look) No doubt the LS1 is faster, but Lt1's are pretty beefy as well and the block should last forever.

May as well just sell it. Somebody will buy your hardtop. They are the minority
in the fourth gen world.
