friend just p/u a 1997 Camaro SS, how to identify a 'real SS'?

has all the parts, wheels, wing, hood, where is the site on production #'s, it's a F22P vin, not sure if slp had a different vin? thanks

look on the inside of the drivers door for a list of RPO codes, look for WU8. if you have this RPO you have a true SS. you can get your production number from SLP by calling them and giving them your VIN.

yeah put the pictures up. everyone knows 96-97SS looks the best compared to 98-02.
