90's V6 F-body rear end and miscellanous question

Buddy of mine wants to buy a v6 f-body or rolling chassis. Got him a built 350 he wants to put in it. He wants to know if there is any big difference between chassis of a v6 platform and a v8 platform, stuff like rear end, suspension, etc...
