Is the 572 not a tall deck motor? I thought they are still a big block but taller deck for more stroke. Anyhow if that is the case they are bigger than a regular big block and might be a tough squeeze. Probably better to have an lsx with forced induction.

Finally someone mentioned it. Most 572 engines are tall deck blocks so you don't have to run a 1.0 piston comp height. Standard deck BBC is 9.8, TD is 10.2 and yes it does cause more fitment issues cause with a BBC space it at a premium.

im not sure if the motor came to 600 Ci on the dot but i asked the owner himself he told me 600".. and track announcers say 600" Im guessing a 632... anyway its a "realstreet" car.. Stock style suspension no wheelie bar and 10" MT drag radials i cant vouuche if he actulay drives this car on the street but it has tags..
My 2002 trans am has a 496.. its still tagged paying insurance and i do drive it on the street. 13:1 compression 700 lift roller cam.. its not exactly practical to drive on the street with that cam but i do..

I have a new 427 small block from American Speed and I love when idiots say that is not a real 427.
It is lighter and has 565rwhp & for a street cat what more do you need
GM has released a limited number of the new 454 small block.
