I know I am new to this, and I had a great time in Indy, but has the Z-max dragstrip in Charlotte NC ever been considered?
If nothing else it may offer a different date to run at.
Almost center of the east coast, and plenty of room.

Anyway, just wanted to say I really enjoyed the LSX shootout and intend on doing a whole lot more.

Since we are suggesting unreasonable locations and a location that would be close to home. How about Seattle Washington. That would only be about a 4,000 mile drive for me but conveying for someone else? The idea behind convenience or centrally located would mean to have a location that would have a geographically location that would have a large car count. I could suggest Raceway Park in englishtown New Jersey. Only a mile from my home. But that would not be fair to this that live in Kentucky. I do know the Rumble class would have 75 to 100 cars from this area in the class.

This would be my first time going to any of these races with my car. Between LS Fest & LSX Shoot Out which of of these would be the better event? What put in for my time off now.

My car is just a H/C car. Which would be the better event for me.

All events are great in there own way. Tough decision to make. I think it would come down to distance.

You crack me up Rob. I would certainly prefer a race at Englishtown rather than Bradenton for a multitude of reasons. Some of the reasons that I can mention are better car counts, better racing conditions, Tiki hut, etc. (You know what I'm talking about). Another aspect that is becoming more and more important to many racers including myself is the ability and inclination of certain tracks to prepare and keep up with the proper preparation of their racing surfaces. The lack of safe and consistent racing surfaces may be what causes me and others to abandon these types of races.

If I had to choose, it would be LS-fest. There is so much going on at one time.

Can you explain, as in what, how is it different for the LSX Shootout?

lsx shoot out is basically drag racing only with true street. Ls fest is all of that plus auto cross, drifting, and more.

Thanks for the help.
Sounds like the Shoot Out is more for me. Would be neat to see the road racing stuff. We are bidding on vacation time at work this month for next year. So I have to have a actual date or else all this will be for nothing.
Hmmmm

Thanks Dan. I would not be responsible if someone or a group did not make it back to the track. LOL
It would be a home run to have it Englishtown. The pits are paved and so are the spectator side. Traction at ETown for an event like this would be superior. Easy access to hotels, major highways and only minutes to Club Farlay. LOL The club can handle 50 to 75 guests. ;-) The pits have electric and water.

Since LSFest is a separate event, I'm guessing that date will be released separately from the NMCA schedule.

My dad and I race together and he doesn't have an LS car. With the schedule change this year I'm thinking about running LSX depending on how the first couple EFI races go.
