- 02-15-2013 12:15 PMThis right here. If you want to keep exhaust manifolds then do this, the more exhaust will help with the stock manifold. But if your not scared of a little header job every two years like I do then go with something more towards the cheater 224 cam. I got a custom grind cam 222/226 and I pass California smog with flying colors (when I swap my headers ) and I run low 11's all day at the track, cruise it on the weekends and get 23 mpg
