Hi Jake.
I have been reading your posts and would really appreciate your opinion on my setup.
I have an LS2 408 forged stroker running CNC LS3 heads, Fast 102mm intake,
12:8.1 compression. 3500rpm stall converter, 3:91 rear gears.
236/244 114LSA+2 camshaft,
I find with my current combo the top end performance isn't too my liking,
The torque drops off real quick after 5500rpm and the engine seems to run out of breath although peak power is at 6600rpm
I always suspected it's the cam as the duration seems a little small for such an engine size.
I read your posts in regards to what IVC and EVO points best suit my stroker.
I came up with a 238/256 113LSA +2
This gives us an IVC of 50 and an EVO of 63
These heads love the big splits in duration and make real good power with them
What you reckon?
I checked out cam motions street king stroker cam of 244/256 112LSA+4 which has ideal valve events but too much overlap for me.
