I've noticed in a few threads that you sell rebuild kits and I may be looking to rebuild.
I bought a 04 LQ4 to swap into my 72 chevy truck. When pulling the cam the first lobe was badly worn and the cam bearings worn down to quite a bit of bronze showing. There was actually a groove in it from the lifter. It was under a 90 day warranty but the seller is saying replace the cam bearings and install my new cam and it should be good. I pulled the oil plug and found the oil on the plug had the silver look with some visible metal. I'm calling him back tomorrow and telling him it needs rebuilt. Sorry about the rant. I'm new to the ls motors and don't know much about them.
