- Dec 10, 2009 03:03 PMI offer a 90 day warranty on the transmission only. It covers leaks and shift related issues. There is no warranty on the clutch related parts unless offered by the manufactor. The R&R labor is not warrantied either except that it works when you pick the car up providing the parts are new and in good working shape.
- Dec 9, 2009 03:19 PMYeah if the slave has a bunch of miles on it, I would replace it while you are there. As for the clutch, you can supply it or I can. It makes no difference to me.
- Dec 9, 2009 03:07 PMFigure on $450 for the trans, $300 to remove it and reinstall it, clutch kit is around $250, resurface flywheel $40. I'd guess about $1050 not including the slave cylinder for the clutch.
- Dec 9, 2009 02:55 PM$450 is the bench labor and master rebuild kit only. If you need a new clutch kit and flywheel, those parts are extra. Also if you need the transmission removed from the car and reinstalled, you are looking at $300 for labor and transmission fluid.
- Dec 9, 2009 01:19 PMI charge $450 for a basic over haul. As long as there is no damaged gears inside of it, you are looking at $450. I have all the parts in stock and a rebuild takes 1 working day.
- Dec 9, 2009 12:55 PMHey man, ball park figure, what's the price range I'd be looking at for one of your rebuilds? Do you offer any kind of warranty, etc?
I think my clutch needs replacing soon, and I'm trying to get an idea of how much it's all gonna set me back.
I don't want anything fancy done to the tranny, just made to feel "brand new" again. It's my DD and I want to keep this car going strong until I graduate from college and can afford something bigger/better.
Let me know. If you prefer, shoot me an email: Robert_valdez89@sbcglobal.net
Thanks.
