Out of curiosity... how was that LQ4 running?
I'm thinking of swapping the '01 LM7 out of my GMC, so I really just need from the valley cover down (no harness, intake, heads, accessories, or even the flexplate [mine's a stick])... maybe keep the water pump.

Would that be significantly less than $1000? Depending on shipping differences, it'd either be to 79606 within the next month or to 57701 in July/August time frame.
