LS1 swap into a Austin Healy B "bug-eyed" Sprite?
Like the title says has anyone swapped an LSx engine into a Austin Healy Sprite? I have a friend who has a couple and needs to swap an engine into at least one of them. I'm trying to get him to swap in an LSx engine!

How about a Hemi in a Bugeye? No flares or hood scoop.

Don't know of any Sprites with LS1 but anything is possible. My Triumph Gt6 ls1 project is progressing. It's be cool, there aren't a whole lot of British Lsx projects on the road, or British V8's in general. Send some pics of the possible project cars if you get a chance, maybe someone could lend more insight to possible glitches.

V-8 "Bugeye" Sprites
Back "in the day" the 215 CID Buick/Olds/Pontiac all aluminum V-8 was a fairly popular swap into Sprites.
AIR, the BOP engine is about the same size as SBC -- so an LSX should fit.
I'm pretty sure HRM did a feature story on one ( late '60's ?).
