Default Honda Accord LS1 or LT1 swap planning

Hey,

Thinking about putting an LS1 or LT1 into a '92 Honda Accord.

I want to be able to daily drive the car and keep it looking like a stock Accord as much as I can.

Thinking about using a G-body frame for this.

Any advice and/or ideas?

I've seen a few sbc accords that body style pop up on the net from time to time. I don't know what all it took to put them in, but a few of them looked pretty stock. A white won comes to mind that looked real clean and stock, but had some deep lipped draglites on the back and skinnys on the front, I wish I could find some pics.

I had a floppity ol' G-body, don't even dream of that chassis. Make a tube chassis w/ M2 or similar front end and a either a 3 link or triangulated 4 link.

Keep in mind you're going to be losing a lot of floor space w/ the firewall setback and tranny tunnel unless you have it sitting pretty high.

You are right, I thought about it and I think I would rather spend a little more money and not use the g-body. I am thinking about picking up a wrecked rx7 or fox body stang and using parts from that.
