Exclamation 2002 v6 camaro ls1 swap

i have a 2002 v6 auto camaro. im looking into swaping the v6 with a ls1 with a t56. but i dont know where to start. getting the engine, trany, computer and wiring harness isnt the problem. does anyone know if the motor mounts, radiator, or rear end will give me any problems? or if anything else will.

You are going to need an LS1 K-Member, Steering Rack and Linkage. The Rear-end will hold up, but not for very long with a T56. I'd invest into a Moser 9".
I would get an LT1 Radiator, they are a little thicker, and get an LS1 T56 Crossmember for the Transmission.

Bro alot of people are going to tell you that it's not worth it, and the money you spend on parts you could buy an ls1 car. Don't listen and go for it. This way you can spend your money on better parts that come stock. It is so worth it trust me. Plus cheaper insurance. Just make sure you don't go the cheap way out. Most of your quality parts can come from here. Good luck

Yeah, sure, the adjuster doesn't necessarily always check and compare what engine there is, but it is always a possibility anyway. And the reimbursement will be based off a V6 car.

Its been a yr almost. Mostly due to a lack of Motivation, and funds at some points.

I Basically have a 2000 Z28 in a 98 V6 Body

correct! insurance companies always look for ways to NOT pay, I have a similar issue with a boat that has lots of HP, also you may have issues getting insurance again. Anyways be safe

^^That's whay I don't have full coverage on my Car. I could get more parting it out than what the Insurance would give me. If I do wreck, I hope the good **** survives.
