Default Help with 5.3 Fan wiring

I have an 07 5.3 & 4L60 in my 84 C10 w/ harness by Current Performance. It was wired for stock 07 Silverado dual fans but I am going to use a single 18" from a Mark VIII. I was told by C P to use the #1 relay to another relay & fuse. How big of a relay do I need and how cheap can I make this happen?

Also can I cap off the heat port out of the cylinder head that I guess runs to the stock radiator or do I need to vent this?

I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow.

Does your harness have a fan relay wired into it already or just the output from the pcm to drive a field installed relay. If it has the relay installed wire it to your fan + and go. If not buy a heavy duty relay and socket then just wire up the relay and use a 30 amp breaker to protect the relay and fan should a problem develope. You need to plumb the steam tube off of the head into the cooling system usually the upper radiator hose is where it will runn to on most conversions.
