Default LS1/T56 swap in 1987 LS

Hey guys,

I know I will have more questions but here is my first!

The base machine started as a 4.3 fuel injected car. It was converted to an aluminum head 355 still retaining the factory fuel pump and tank.

Ok I am installing the LS1 but am going to put a truck intake on it. What do I need to do about my fuel lines?
The truck intake is from a 2000 Silverado.
Planning to do a walbro intank pump, any other suggestions?

Thanks a bunch in advance!

If memory serves me correctly, the truck intake should have both a feed and return fuel connection, so therefore you can use your stock lines and add pushlock connection adapters to them and voila, you're good.

That is what I was thinking but was not positive. Thanks for the info.

I dont think I have ever seen these "pushlock conection adapters" this may be something I will have to look into. I may have to reroute my lines since they come up on the passenger side of the car.

Good luck! If you haven't checked it out yet, take a look at my original swap http://www.montecarloss.com/ls1montecarloss/ and if you want to do the clutch pedal painlessly right, just PM me!
