Default v6 to v8 camaro swap question- trans mount & driveshaft

Do I need the trans mount from a a4 v8 car or can I use the v6 one? If I have to get a new one would that mean the trans moves backward or forward? If thats the case wouldnt I need a driveshaft of different length? Like one from a v8 car?

If you are the 1998 and up body style, you should be fine. The Tranny Crossmember you have now should work to my knowledge, but I'm not entirely sure..

I know the V6 and V8 Drive Shafts are the same, so there is that answer, but not too sure about the other one..

Good, as I didnt have a driveshaft budgeted. The trans crossmember I think is different, but why would it be different if the driveshaft length is the same?
