Thanks for the kind words guys.

Another long overdue update

Did A LOT more racing since the last update (modified ultimate street car shootout), made it SEMA (Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational) , made it in a few more magazines and am STILL LOVING THIS ENGINE! Currently making the car wider so I can fit more tire under the car. The engine is still bone stock(as far as I know) dyno'd with a great tune @ 386hp and 399ft/lbs. (Church Automotive Testing) Heres some more pics!

@Modified USCS

Recently ran the Ultimate Street Car Association Search for the Ultimate Street Car event at Laguna Seca, What an amazing event. Be sure to check out www.ultimatestreetcarassociation.com and sign up for an event near you. I can guarantee it will be the most fun you'll ever have in your car. In an effort to gain a little more control of the rear of the car I added a wing. Since the hatch is glass, I have to get creative mounting it. Built digitally, then cut out.

What a great car. Serious wing mount. Is that 1/2" aluminum?

Thanks guys. Yeah I went a little overkill on the stands...like most things.. its 1/2" aluminium. Been at it trying to get the body work done. After tons of work, I finally got a part made. Cant wait to see the fronts on soon enough!

Very cool stuff, glad to see that thing is doing so well still! Going to be out on Woodward this year? I remember seeing you down there a few years ago.

I really want to make it out there for the dream cruise, but I doubt its going to happen. Just a quick update, I got the body done, it came out exactly like I had designed. Couldnt be happier.

Fianlly qualified for the Optima Ultimate Street Car Invitational following SEMA this year. Cant wait to have another shot at the title!

Yes, I know this is an old thread but this is an awesome build. I can relate. My supercharged LT1 and T56 that was in my 68 Camaro (I regretfully sold it) was actually built for and was originally in my white Conquest/Starion. I have video of the entire build. That was back in 01 or 02. Good times.

Damn! i followed this build years ago, but didn't subscribe for some reason, and missed the updates from the last few years.

I've got to say, this thing looks killer. Body so evil and futuristic. Love all the fab work you've put into this thing. Props!!
