GenIII+ stock exhaust manifolds ($ budget)
I want to look at some of the stock LSx manifolds, to see what may work for certain swaps (similiar to the stickied oil pan thread) Its pretty easy to find pictures of GTO, F-body,vette, and truck manifolds, but how about the FWD 5.3's?
I use ebay oftentimes to find pics of parts (often unreliably). Any suggestions of new parts websites that I can pimp for some photos? I'd think this could be helpful for many of the folks in LSX Conversions.

it would be nice to see this... infact I can say there is a truck manifold same casting as the 2002 f-body ones but the egr and air port were never drilled i think they call the truck a topkick?

If this thread gets all the data we can look into a sticky or at least add it to the FAQ thread links. I think you would want depth from manifold flange at cylinder head to the outer edge of the manifold (front, middle, and rear), then measurement of how far back the collector is from a good manifold reference point - let's say front "header" bolt to forward bolt on manifold flange exit. Then the diameter, dimensions and style of the collector, 2-bolt, 3-bolt, gasket/donut etc. Also probably need max width from manifold flange to the furthest point out, such as the edge of the "collector" flange if so.
Another option is lining out known fitment for chassis, such as a what fits what type of topic. Something like this: 2010 Camaro LS3 Manifolds fit my 1967 Camaro with T+D Mount plates and Energy Suspension Mounts. Drivers side close with stock PS gearbox, heat shield removed, and very minor gearbox grinding would help.

I tried the following manifolds
-C6
-2000-2002 Fbody
-LS2 GTO
-08 C6 Z06
-06 TBSS
C6 are no good with LS1 style motor mounts, the flange interferes with teh mounts, you need Vette pedestals. ALSO the center dump style dumps right on top of the steering shaft. Flipping them side to side didn't help.
Fbody manifolds fit but the driver side stock 02 sensor interferes with the steering shaft so you have to plug it and move it down stream. The stock cats hit the firewall and floor board in stock configuration
GTO manifolds stand out from the block a lot compared to the rest, the dumps aimed odd, and also hit the frame rails on both sides. They really flare out wide.
Z06 manifolds same problem as the regular C6, the dump is in the middle and the flange hits the mounts. Also the collector is bulky and interferes with the steering shaft as well as the K-member. too bad!
TBSS manifolds fit awesome, no issues anywhere, dumps like it grew in the engine bay right between the block, trans, and k-member. They are similar to truck manifolds but on one side the dump goes further back and the other it is shorter. Basically opposite the truck style collector lengths.
Eyeballing the truck manifolds they would have hit the firewall. Too bad since they appear to have larger collectors than the TBSS. Both dump back and down.

I have a set from my 2002 Silverado motor that aren't drilled for either. The systems weren't in the harness either. The EGR section is cast in the passenger header, but not drilled.
