It passed emissions today And it has no problem annihilating the tires through first, second, and third.

23 mpg from an old sbc? Is it in a go cart or a prius?

Passing emissions is awesome! Dont they look under the car though? The stupid mirror on a stick used to get me everytime.

They didn't even pop the hood. Probably figured the 6 was still under there.

Checking for a converter with the mirror under that car.

You should knock down killer mileage with that setup... I would think 25-28 mpg on the highway with a decent rear gear.

It has 3.73s. Definitely hoping for over 25mpg on the highway.

I hope I get at least 15mpg. My carbed 6.0 with same intake as yours with hot cam. I'm running a Muncie behind it, has 12 bolt posi with 308's. Seem like it's gonna be a pig, was debating to change it over to fuel injection. Just fine tuning it and it's using some gas!

You'll be able to get at least that much. Thats the cam we had in my brothers s-10. It is very streetable. Try using a wideband o2 to tune your carb. Then you'll be able to get it real close. You'll always use a bunch of gas while tuning dont worry.

I took the car to the Vegas Invasion this weekend and didn't have any problems. Well, it didn't idle too well when we went above 8000 ft on the cruise but I was expecting that with a carb tuned for ~1200 ft. Averaged almost 23 mpg for the trip.
