The merv has how to's on modifying your the ls1 harness into an lt1 car. Im doing the same swap but am running the ls1 engine, dash, steering column, and even the door harness. The ls1s do not have a return line and no pressure regulator on the fuel rail like the lt1s. I guess you have that figured out already.

You can look up speartech online for custom harnesses.

The earlier LS1's do have both connections on the Rails..

Didn't know that. Every f-body ls1 I have seen was returnless. Learn something new everyday

Everyone I know is too poor to afford a vette

From the pics on your car it looks like you used the factory lt1 fuel lines. Im gonna be helping someone in a couple of weeks putting another an ls1 in lt1 body once mine is finished this weekend hopefully. Difference is they only have the engine and main harness, so we are gonna lt1 fuel system. I know about modifying the harness, at least ive read how but have not done it yet. Isnt fuel pressure controlled by the pcm on ls1's so would need it reprogrammed to avoid a code?

No, on the LS1's the Fuel Pressure is controlled by the Regulator on the Rails.. the 1997 Vette is one that has the Dual Lines..not sure about the 1998. On the 1999 and up Vette there is a Fuel Pressure Reglator/Filter..that is what I have in my Car. I used the Stock LT1 Lines..just Epoxy'd some Rubber Fuel Lines over the stock ones so I could clamp on the stock LT1 Fuel Line Connects cause the fit perfectly on the Corvette Regulator. Then for the single out I had a custom Fuel Line made for that.
