DBW costs Looking to add a DBW pedal-TB setup to my LSX-based '57 Chevy. What's the average boneyard cost for a pedal/wiring and TAC? First quote I got was $500 which sounds pretty excessive.

I paid $95 at my door for a PCM, TAC and harness from a junkyard called Carguts in Tenn. It was out of a 2003 Suburban
Try this link and look for 'electronic box' for the year and model you'd like to have-

Sort the result by lowest price and start calling. Look for a yard that has all the components together off the same vehicle that will make you a package deal.

Does the wiring harness for the pedal go... pedal to TAC to TB? I'm not using an LSx PCM and harness, so hoping the above is correct.

Just a little clarification to poconojoe's note-
The engine harness has a connection to the TAC.
The TAC has its own small harness to the pedal assembly inside the car.
The TAC to pedal harness (I guess it would be better called a jumper) has a grommett on it for going through the firewall. It is about 18-24" long

Hmm, since I'm using BigStuff3 for my EFI controller, sounds like I'm SOL on using a DBW TB. Correct? I thought the TB was controlled by the pedal, and the TAC was just an interface between the two.

The throttle body is controlled off of a driver in the GM PCM, and not all PCMs have the driver circuit installed.
I don't know what a 'BigStuff3' is. Is it a standalone like a FAST or Motronic, or a variation of a GM PCM?
I would think you'd have to talk to the manufacturer to see if it was compatable with a DBW.
With the GM PCM being so tunable, supported and cheap, what made you decide to use the 'BigStuff3'? Just curious.

http://www.bigstuff3.com/ In the hands of the right person (that doesn't mean me...) it's probably the best EFI setup out there. I got a great deal on it, which was about the same as a PCM/Engine Harness and (1) mail order tune, so I figure I'm ahead with it.
Looks like I'll be sticking with my cable TB...
