Default Coil covers, low budget/plain covers

Has anyone found a decent set of coil covers that are not Corvette/GTO covers? Just can't see paying 100 bucks to modify a set to my liking and don't want a set of pricey aluminums.

Personally, I like the look of remote mounted coils and clean valvecovers. Just another, potentially cheaper idea.

go to home depot, get some brackets, threaded rod, nuts, spacers, etc......hide those suckers and show the valve covers off

These folks make some, and will make custom ones for you. Not sure if you consider them budget or not. They did my custom ones for me. I had the vinyl lettering done at a local sign shop, then we picked the color and they did the rest.

I made these,,,, carved some foam, taped with AC duct tape, fiberglass then sand. One day I'll get around to painting them. About $20 in material.

i have shaved and smoothed my valve covers, filling in the channels between the bolts and coil pack mount dimples. they look real good, and im gonna add vinyl lettering to the smooth part, high gloss black hi temp paint for covers.
also remote mount coil packs with looms for wires.

I like the "industrial/commercial" look of exposed hardware myself.......but the various covers are pretty nice looking.
