96 v6 bird to 00 ls1 wiring?? Ok im getting ready to buy a wiring harness, is there one off another year that will plug and play in my 96 bcm? I heard that all of the bird's(93-02) were the same but the camaro's changed bcm's in certain years. Or atleast thats what I understood from trans am creations swap page.

"D (Dash Assembly) - 97-02 uses a totally different dash VS the 93-96 Camaros. Firebird remains interchangeable." I take this to mean the firebird's will swap no matter what year and what motor I can get any harness and plug it in and go. Am I wrong?
