I was looking into getting ebay stand alone harness to put a Ls1 in my Fox. And I cant figure what one I need. (searched but I probably suck at it) Do I get the the harness for a 98 computer or the 99-02. I know it has to do with reluctor wheel size. Btw its a 2001 5.3.

get the 99-02, the 98 was kind of a bastard child with it's own harness, computer, and IIRC the tuning is not as capable.

Ok so the 99-02 has the same reluctor wheel as a 5.3?

up until the cam sensor is the in the timing cover in the front should all be the same as far as I know.
