Default PCM mounting brackets... what are you guys using?

I'm planning to mount my PCM on the passenger fender of my 66 A-body.

What are you folks using for mounting brackets?

I mounted mine where the glovebox used to be. I used some strap aluminum and mounted it vertical. I lost the glovebox in the process though.

For my 72 Chevelle, I used the factory plastic PCM bracket/harness and mounted it to a piece of aluminum, which I then attached to the cowling underneath the drivers side fender. Nice and weatherproof and it saved me the hassle of going through the firewall with the connectors etc. With the plastic innerfender, it is fairly easy to get to and it looks very clean.

I remember a thread not too long ago that included a lot of pics of different solutions that guys had come up with. See if you can find it.

I just mounted mine on the inside firewall above the center console using an aluminum plate and some angle to support it from the upper cowl instead of drilling through the firewall to mount it.look on the last page of my thread to see it. JOHN
