6.0 and 5.3 the same size?

are the engine deminsions the same? I know a 5.3 or a LS1 will fit in a 40 chevy pickup, just curious about the 6.0

The 4.8/5.3/6.0/6.2 are all the same size externally block wise same as the LS1/2/3/4/6/7/9. They are all Gen III/IV V8's

Unbolt the 5.3L longblock and the 6.0L will bolt right in it's place. The truck intakes, accessories, and oil pans are all the same.
