Default Dynatech mustang lsx swap headers

Does anyone have a set of these?

I am looking for installed pics.

Would like to know the collector location and how close to the floor they are.

Thanks
Tim

Why don't you contact Dynatech and ask them for install pictures? They document everything in house to use in a very detailed instruction sheet.

here's a tip if you don't have the A/C stuff under the dash :

drill holes in the fire wall right where the bellhousing bolts are so you can pass a saocket and long enough extension through it . trust me it makes life soooo much more enjoyable

as for the headers , sorry no pics , but i kinda figured out they will not work if you are using the 4.6 k-member and mounts since they sit the engine lower and farther back in the engine compartment ( this happened on two of our cars.) when compared to the ls1 swap k-member from AJE. headers will endup hitting the frame.

I have a AJE fox lsx k member. Dynatech has a specific header just want to see real world install pics.

We have holes in the fire wall of the hot street car to get the bell bolts. I won't do that to this car.

you can always plug the holes with rubber caps ( like the ones in the trunk of an f-body)or tape them over

Headers fit mint with the AJE K memebr. They literally fell in from the top with the steering shaft removed. Perfect fit and lots of clearance around everything.

Can you measure from the floor to the top of the collector. Also send me a couple of pics. Gray86hatch@comcast.net.

Thanks

There is a good 4 fingures from the top of the collector to the floor. The only real problem is the collector dumps kinda close to the factory trans mount on the body and makes exhaust a real pain. If you have a good exhaust shop or welding skills you'll have no problems.

Ok. Kind of hoped they would be a little bit shorter primarys and closer to the floor. I may just build another new set for the car.
I like to get the collector so it is just behind the engine so the trans will come out with just a collector removal. Primarys stay on.

Overpriced hang low or just don't fit at all. Their mustang stuff is junk. I built my own stainless ones for $700 in materials. Just not sure I am going to have the time to build them and if I can get a set that fit correctly for under 600 I may just get them.

Just not going to buy them till I see them on a car.
