Looks and sounds great, congrats!

What transmission are you running? Who did you use for wiring and tuning? Also, what exhaust manifolds are those? It looks sweet, again congrats!

Thanks everyone, it's been a long wait to get everything far enough along to hear it run, about 5 years. Could not have done it without the help from everyone here.
It's a 5.3 w/4l60e pullout from 2003 Tahoe rollover.
The manifolds are the originals with the bosses for the heat shields smoothed.
The pass. side worked , the driver side had to relocate flange to miss frame.
There's a pic of the rt. manifold on page 3 of my showroom at chevelles.com
(link in my sig.)

I reworked the original harness, used current perf. conversion fuse box,
PCM by wait4me.

Rob I didn't know you were driving, last update I saw you were wiring.

Thanks again
Malcolm

Malcom,
5 years? that is a long time. I have been driving for a few weeks now. Now to work out bugs and make the car look good.

What are you going to do for cooling fans? Did wait4me disable HVAC recirc door and enable fan #2 control for you? There is some mis-information on this site and others saying you can't control 2 fans with a truck PCM. EFILive has the switch in their software. HPTuners doesn't, but they will enable fan #2 control if you send them your tune. They did it for me and it works perfectly. I assume the switch will make it into a future release.

Rob I'm using a '98 Mustang fan left over from building a wrecked Mustang
for my sons first ride.
It fit the '88 Corvette rad perfectly, I trimmed the mounting tabs and mounted it from my rad brackets.
Wait4me said they could program for fan outputs, I have'nt got my fan wired up
yet to try to see if it works.

OK,
single fan will work fine with truck PCM. They just had to add a wire to harness and enable fan #1.

Looks Great!

P*R Manifold coat, bad thing is it's flaking off with about 20 minutes run
time. Guess I didn't apply it right.
