Default Injecter swap

I recently got a 08 LY6 motor and picked up a L76 intake with rails and injecter from " GM 2009 Pontiac G8 L76 LS3 Intake w/Injectors" ( right from the ebay ad) I believe it is the G8 GT 6.0L. engine.

My question is can I merely bolt this entire intake assembly on the LY6 if it was from 6.0L ? Would the injecters be different from a flexfuel engine or even a LS3 engine? And would the computer need to be changer to account for this?

thanks,

---Jim---

As long as the heads have the same ports yes. Flex fuel injectors are different than non-flex fuel injectors. If your putting this engine into a conversion you'll have to get the computer tuned anyway.

Default injecters

Yes, this is for a conversion. I have the stock computer for the engine. Is this something they (Speartech) should be able to compensate for? As in "good enough" ? I don't believe there are any tuners near me. Buffalo/Rochester NY

thanks
