Thanks for all the replies. The Speedway Motors tubing arrived today, and that's what I'm gonna use since they claim a 250 psi rating.

July of 2007 the engine bay of my 2000 Trans Am burst into flames while working on the car in my attached garage. A fuel line burst because it was rated 5 pounds less than required. I do not want to relive that at all! Therefore, it's worth the extra $40.00 to get something that I know is going to be safer.

Return line should be almost a free flow if sized correctly.

I used the aluminized steel fuel line. basically steel line is coated with aluminum for corrosion protection. so far so good.

what kind of fittings did you use? I take it you flared the ends? I would like to use the same thing for my build. Can you or someone else point me in the right direction on fittings for the aluminum tube please? Maybe a link to what I should use...

Heck I got all the aluminum stuff from Summit. I am trying a couple sponsors here for fuel line and fittings for my flex and not getting responses. I hate seeing a person online and browsing threads that will not respond, lol. Bout to just click buy from summit.

I know it is super bowl weekend and all, but at the same time I saw both of them online for over an hour and never even got a message saying they would look into it or anything....bout o just hit purchase at summit and get everything I need. Summit is not always the absolute best price, but looking at the sponsor websites vs summit it looks like they are a little better on this one and they always have it to me in like 2 days max.

some of our sponsors are better then others. Id agree on summit being pretty reliable on parts. sometimes a bit over priced, but pretty reliable. You wont gop wrong with the aluminum hardlines either off of summit. If your really worried about it, you can get aluminized steel but aluminum on the return side will definitly get the job done. just make sure the ends or fitted on tightly

Never did hear back from either of the two I contacted. But if you have ever heard of Orme Brothers, that is who got back with me ASAP on another site and ended up winning my business. They were friendly, courteous, patient and gave me what I feel to be a very good deal.
