Thanks.
I met with the guy who's going to do some work on my car yesterday. He said he's quite picky on the work he takes on as he only wants to work on cars that he's excited to work on. He liked my build He is just finishing up a new and bigger shop and wants to wait until it is done before taking my car. He hopes to be done in a month or month and half, then my car will be spending some time with him.

For what though? You seem to do all you own work.

I've wanted to do all my own work, but I've been fighting with getting the trunk lid and the tail light panel lined up properly. I'm going to get him to finish up the trunk, fit the doors, fenders and hood. That way when I get the car back, it will look like a car again and I can start digging in and make some more progress. I'm also likely going to get him to paint it, so this way when the car gets back to him a lot of the body mods will have been done.

I know this is a small update, but I haven't been able to post a pic of new parts since 2014 so I'm posting one. Found bit of cancer on the fenders so decided to pick up some new AMD ones. Just waiting for the call from the body guy as to when he's going to pick the car up. He said first part of May so hopefully soon.

Unfortunately it's still sitting in my shop as is. The guy who's going to be doing the work has had way bigger things to worry about. He lives in a small town which flooded this year so he had to deal with that. Then he retired and sold his towing company so he was dealing with that and had to move all his equipment into his shop at his house. I'm supposed to be taking it to him first week of August but not sure it that will happen. The town he lives in was evacuated a couple days ago because of a huge forest fire. He refused to leave and fought the fire from getting to his house. Looks like he was successful but not sure what the weeks ahead have in store for them. The selfish part of me hopes he's still able to take my car next month but I completely understand if it gets delayed a bit more.

Well it happened. A buddy of mine dropped off his trailer on Tuesday night.
Wednesday morning the doors opened for the first time in a while
And the car was loaded
Had to take this pic. Going to look awesome from behind
And in its temporary home getting all the panels hung and lined up
I also thought I'd post a pic of a new car I bought last year. It's a 2017 Ford Fusion sport. Snappy little car. 320 hp and 380 tq. Helps fill a void until my car is done lol.

What engine is in the Ford? They didn't do a TT DI v6 did they? I'm thinking that will fill the "itch" for the time being.

twin-turbocharged and intercooled DOHC 24-valve V-6, iron and aluminum block and aluminum heads, direct fuel injection
And I was mistaken, its 325hp not 320
