Default LQ9/LQ4 into Fox body guys..need some input

What AJE K-member and trans cross member are you using? Does AJE make headers for this swap? Anyone besides Kooks make headers for this swap? I am thinking of using Powerglide or TH400 tranny with a LQ9/L92 swap. Still looking for fox body now...just trying to get idea of what parts I need to start gathering/looking for...

Thanks

AJE makes cross members and k member/motor mounts for the swap. kooks used their K member to design the headers, I believe dyna-something makes swap headers too.

You can also use a k-member/motor mount setup for a modular motor by extending a couple tabs on the motor mounts.

Keep in mind you will need a driveshaft.

Other misc parts like a fuel setup, etc.

I hope this helps.

I need to research this more but I think you can use 351 windsor headers and cut off the flanges and replace them with lsx style ones. You may have to reroute a runner or two, but it is alot better than starting from stratch.

Maybe someone else will chime in on this.

NOT X3 KOOKS SUCK

Kooks phucked up when they made the jig for the headers. It don`t matter witch trans cross member you have wheather it be a stock one or a AJE cross member you can`t use it. The headers dump right at the cross member so it was impossible to use the AJE trans cross member for my th350 so i had to have one made. Also the steering shaft that came with the flaming river manual rack hit the headers. I had to cut the steering colume shorter so that the top knuckle on the steering shaft ended up closer to the fire wall. Also on the passenger side i had to take and put a real big dent in them to clear something that i should not have had to.
I would try the new Dynatech headers or ask people about them first.
