Default Can I put this cam in a 5.3L truck engine?

LS3 cam, part number 12603844.

.551 intake/.522 exhaust

204 intake/211 exhaust

The specs are not much different than the LS6 cam that gets so many good reviews, but this cam is about 1/3 the cost.

What length pushrods would be needed in a 5.3 engine with this cam?

I presume I would still need the LS6 valvesprings also.

Default

IIRC, a gen IV cam doesn't have the reluctor for the gen III style cam position sensor
