Default 00 ls1 motor and tranny in a 70 camaro

I have a 70 camaro and a full ls1 motor and tranny and full wiring. what do i need to do to put it in the car and im going to keep it fuel injected. And where do i buy the parts at? thanks

First and foremost you absolutely must read, read, read.... sticky's, swap threads and builds and whatever other info you can get your hands on. With that said theres a build on a members car here if you do some searching, Brp i do believe has a header and tranny x-memeber kit for your application as well.

check the FAQ in the conversion section and user Rodder I believe has a 70 witht he same setup and has a link to his build, including wiring and all.

I have a LS1/T56 in my 73 Camaro. You'll need motor mount adapter plates, a new crossmember, the engine wiring harness will either need to be reworked or you can buy a new harness, the PCM will need reprogramming, you'll need a fuel supply capable of 60PSI, ect. Basically you'll need to change or rework most everything. PM me if I can help.
