Blown Ls1!! New ls1, used/new ls3? any suggestions for new motor? I just blew my motor, i have about $6k to play with..im new to gm and im taking suguestions on wether i should buy a brand new ls1 with 100k mile warrenty..or do something better like a ls3..is this possible with my price range? is it worth the extra money? and my final question is if i do decide to buy a used ls3 is it safe buying online?

Whats the intended purpose of the vehicle ? Build a 6.0 on a budget and go fast !!! ls1tech, scrapyard, craigslist, or ebay low mileage 6.0 with arp rod bolts, L92's, good cam, ported intake, ported throttle body. Great trans & converter, Great rear end, great suspension and brakes. SPRAY !!!! & Let the good times roll.
