Thumbs down clutch queston?? slave??

did a 67 1st gen swap and noticed now that theh slave clinder is leakinig in the floor board, what would cause it to do this? i took the factory slave and threaded the end and screwed the turnbuckle on it and bolted it to clutch pedal, it all seemed fine but i did not put a stop on it would this have caused damaged to the slave? or what do i need to do to keep i form doing it again?

It may have damaged the slave by bottoming out. You don't need to go over 7/8" rod stroke to be on the safe side.

You need a stop to keep the push rod from bottoming out. If the throw/travel does not seem correct you may need an adjustable clutch master cylinder.
