Default 5.3 Conversion WIRING HARNESS

I have an 04' 5.3 that I am putting into first gen S-10 which has a fly by wire setup and going to run a cable setup does anyone know what has to be done. Thanks

Go to www.lt1swap.com. He has instructions to walk you through it step by step. A young friend and I are doing pretty much the same thing , only we are putting the 5.3 in a '51 Ford pickup. I was really dreading trying to rework the factory harness, but thanks to this website, I'm almost done with it. Good luck! Ron

The other option is to get one from eBay for $450 and focus on other aspects of the project. Sell your factory harness tohelp pay for the new one.

Good info. I like the fact that lt1swap has all the info listed or will do it for you. I think I will use him.
