Default L33 Swap Help in 96 ZR2

Hey guys,

After wanting an LS based engine since 98 I finally picked one up yesterday. I picked up an 06 L33 with 36,000 miles. It came with most of the brackets, and most of the sensors. It was missing the alt., PS. Pump, AC Comp., & Starter. Also it's missing the bracket that bolts the alt and PS pump to the block. If anybody knows the best & cheapest place to get these items I'd appreciate the info.

My real question lies in the wiring. I did a lot of searching but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. The engine came with the 06 computer but no harness. I guess they cut those up pretty bad while removing the engine... What harness should I be looking for? Will any truck 03-07 work? I want to use the truck intake and accessories on my swap. Along with the DBW throttle body. Should I be looking for the truck harness or will an LS2 car harness offer a cleaner install? I think I read that the injector plugs are different between the two.

Thanks,

OldSchoolSS

I've got a spare alternator/PS pump bracket with the PS pump off a 6.0. Where are you located?

Well I guess you picking it up in person is out of the question.
I'm guessing shipping would be $30-40, so you might be able to get it from a local junkyard cheaper. If you still want it, let me know what it's worth to you.

Does anybody know if a 2004 6.0 harness will work with the L33? I have the connectors of the 2006 Computer that I could re-pin.

6.0 harness will work, however the transmission will need to be re pinned for a 4l60 and you will need a cable throttle body with an 04 I think.
